La Mongeta del Ganxet and the Alella Denomination of Origin lead the exquisite gastronomic mosaic typical of Roca del Vallès, these two being the star products of the territory. The mongeta del Ganxet has a very important conreo in the region and is very prestigious among consumers. It is dry, medium-sized, white and hook-shaped. These mongetes are especially good with bacon and salads with novel oil, and above all accompanied by another regional specialty: the Garriga sausage. Meanwhile, the vineyards that make up the current Alella Designation of Origin, one of the smallest on the peninsula, offer white, rosé wines with Garnacha, Merlot, Pansa Rosada, black and Tempranillo that are widely recognized for their quality.
